Will Heierman, an HGMS member and noted collector of gold and corundum specimens, gave a truly stellar presentation at HGMS’ General Meeting on April 26, 2022 on “The EHK Mine”. The artisanal mine, located in the St. Helena National Forest in Montana, is worked by Will and his partners. In the talk he explains some of the problems with mining and permitting such a mine.
