Twisted Hoop Earrings with Carmen Fraticelli

Learn to make a pair of twisted hoop earrings from scratch in this 5-hour class! This class is appropriate for the beginning silversmith or for expanding one’s knowledge of basic silversmithing. A prior class with soldering is beneficial but not required.  The class will cover the fundamentals of creating twists in square wire, forming hoops, and soldering earring posts. All pieces will be in sterling silver.  Each student will leave with a pair of hoop earrings in the size of their choice (up to 5.5” length total).

• Cost – $105 members, $131 non-member
• Class will be held in the Jewelry Studio, overlapping open clubhouse hours
• We will discuss how to use these techniques to make other hoop earrings (simple or with twisted wire)

 NOTE:  You must register for this class by October 23rd to allow Carmen time to prepare the materials.
