SHIBORI TEA TOWELS

Join us for a fun, slightly messy class to learn the Shibori tying and clamping method and dye 26” square cotton tea towels in an indigo dyebath. Each student will have time to dye 4 or 5 tea towels during class (depending on the number of students). Indigo is a beautiful and historic dye; your towels will have many uses in the kitchen and at the table.
TEACHER: Jeanean Slamen
LOCATION: Start in the main meeting room and soak, dye, rinse & line dry in yard lawn area. In case of rain, garage will be utilized.
COST: $48.00 All tools and materials included, except for protective rubber gloves to be provided by the student for proper fit.
DURATION: 2 to 2.5 hours (Depending on number of students)
LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY: Easy
MINIMUM / MAXIMUM PER SESSION: 4 Minimum/Maximum 10 per session
AGE: Ages 14 and up. Any student under 18 must be accompanied by a parent on premises.
