Instructor: Maggie Manley
Description:Learn the art of knotting between beads and how to properly finish a strand with findings for long-term wear. Maggie Manley will teach you to knot a string of beads on silk thread and other types of thread sized properly according to the hole-size of specific beads. We will practice on pearls with silk and several other types of beads with different threads. Emphasis will be placed on selecting the correct thread to match the bead hole size, consistent knot sizes and spacing, and how to end the strand for long-term wear. Practice beads will be provided; or, you may bring your own beads. This class will emphasize practicing the art of knotting, rather than producing a finished strand, depending on individual expertise. Several methods of knotting will be demonstrated.

- This is a beginner level to higher skill level class
- Bring magnifiers and auxiliary light, if desired
