										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Small Cabochon Wire-Wrapped Ring Class</strong></p>
<p><strong>Instructor: Susan Burch</strong></p>
<p><strong>Intermediate Level (Due to size of stone)</strong></p>
<p>This is a very adaptable design, swirls are not necessary for your finished project in class. For your future design, you can add more wires and change the size/shape of the stone.</p>
<p><strong>Date: January 17th, 10:00AM &#8211; 2:30PM</strong></p>
<p><strong><u>Tools and Supplies needed:</u></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Chain-nose pliers</li>
<li>Flat-nose pliers (small, narrow nose needed)</li>
<li>Round-nose pliers</li>
<li>Flush wire cutter</li>
<li>6” or 12” ruler</li>
<li>File or sandpaper</li>
<li>Polishing cloth</li>
<li>Pen and paper (for notes and designing)</li>
<li>Metal sized ring mandrel</li>
<li>8 mm round stone (provided, or you can bring your own stone in a similar shape/size)</li>
<li>22 ga. square copper wire. (21-24” provided)</li>
<li>22 ga. 1/2 round copper wire. (32” provided)</li>
<li>1/4” masking tape (provided)</li>
<li>~Magnifying lenses (Suggested if you have difficulty seeing small things)</li>
</ul>
<p><strong><u>Member Cost: $52 , $57 with tool rental</u></strong></p>
<p><strong><u>Non-Member Cost: $60 , $65 with tool rental</u></strong></p>

<p><strong>Classes will be held in the small classroom at the HGMS clubhouse unless another location is needed. </strong></p>
<p><strong><br />
</strong>*If you don’t have your own tools, you may rent a set when booking the class, or at the time of the class for $5 from the instructor. There are also some tools available for purchase at the class location.</p>
<p>*Wires and stones are small, if finger dexterity or eyesight cause you difficulty with very small things, please take that into account when booking your spot.</p>
<p>*All materials are included in cost.</p>
<p>Maximum is 6 students</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Date &amp; Time: Tuesdays and Thursdays May 3, 5, 10, 12 and 17 from 7pm to 10pm</strong></p>
<p>Tony Lucci will teach a series of 5-casting classes. He does a fantastic job of teaching various wax carving and casting methods using silver.  This class is highly recommended if you want to learn casting.  You will cast multiple items in this class. Tools provided.<br />
Students may bring their own silver.  2 to 5 oz. of at least sterling silver is recommended, or students can purchase silver directly from Tony.  The amount of silver needed varies according to what each student casts, and finished castings will be weighed to determine cost at current silver prices.  A variety of wax molds will be available, or students may bring their own.</p>
<p>Minimum 3 students; Maximum 6</p>
