DESCRIPTION:Date: Sunday\, March 23rd\, Noon to 4 PM\n\nCost:  Member Cost:  $85.00; Non-Member Cost:  $100.00 (Tool box rental is included)\nLocation: Class to be held in clubhouse Jewelry Studio. Will overlap open studio hours but will extend into after hours.\nInstructor: Carmen Fraticelli\n\nBackground: I’ve been silversmithing for full time for 4 years\, part time for over 10. I supervise the Jewelry Studio several times a month to provide members with assistance in progressing their projects. \n\n\nDescription: Learn to make a pair of twisted hoop earrings from scratch! This class is appropriate for the beginning silversmith or for expanding one’s knowledge of basic silversmithing. It does require the participant to have some basic experience in soldering.\n\nThe class will cover the fundamentals of creating twists in square wire\, forming hoops\, and soldering earring posts. All pieces will be in sterling silver.  Each student will leave with a pair of hoop earrings in the size of their choice (up to 5.5” length total).\n\n\nWe will discuss how to use these techniques to make other hoop earrings (simple or with twisted wire)\n\n\n\nMisc.: Max 6 students\, Min 2
